Blackademics, De-Bugged! We’rrreee B(L)AAAACK!

After a grueling month of technical malfunctions, Blackademics is up and running once again! Unfortunately, in order to fix the problem, the ability to comment on posts before the virus attacked is impossible. This is a very unfortunate circumstance, but we have to roll with the punches as always. We’ll do our best to prevent these types of viruses from plaguing us in the future. This month, to celebrate our return to the blogsphere (and to celebrate Black Black History), we’re going to be re-vamping the site and recruiting some new contributors to the scene. Welcome back, Blackademics.org!!!

I didn’t visit your site often enough over the past several months to realize that you guys were down. What virus? Did you guys get hacked or are you running the site in a shared server environment and got accidentally infected? Nonetheless its great to have you back in the Sphere.

Been looking around Blackademics today for your take on Black History Month 2008 back in the States. I really enjoyed “The Black History Front” post and am very appreciative for the link to your great interview with the historian Dr. John Hope Franklin.

I will have to visit Blackademics more often this year, much more often. Your collective work here on the site is very good.
